🏉 WHAT A WAY TO FINISH THE FESTIVAL SEASON ❤️💛

An absolutely brilliant day for our Minis at the Clydebank Festival 👏

The weather tried its best to stop us 🌧️😂 but the kids just kept going, kept smiling, and represented the club brilliantly from start to finish 💪

Special shoutout to our incredible P3s who brought home ANOTHER trophy 🏆
That’s now every festival this season… an unbelievable achievement 👏

Massive credit as well to our P4/5 team ❤️

For a group made up mostly of kids who have only been playing rugby for a few months, they were absolutely outstanding. No trophy this time, but they came incredibly close and should be hugely proud of themselves 🙌

One of the standout moments of the day was facing off against our friends from Helensburgh in a brilliant match full of effort, respect and great rugby 🤝

Days like today show exactly what grassroots rugby is all about.

We couldn’t be prouder of every single player 🧡♥️

Special shoutout to:
🏆 Our Loch Lomond P3 team who brought home the trophy in their age group!
🥈 Our joint Helensburgh/Lomond P4 side who finished runners-up in theirs!

Days like this are what grassroots rugby is all about 💪

Huge thanks to Helensburgh RFC for hosting another brilliant festival 👏

🏉💛 BACK WHERE WE BELONG 💛🏉

The Minis were absolutely buzzing to be back training on our own pitches at the clubhouse last night 👏

Plenty of smiles, loads of energy… and yes… they got very, very dirty 😂

That’s what it’s all about — getting stuck in, enjoying the game and having fun with their teammates.

Great to see everyone back on home turf 💪

A great morning for our P1–3 group as they took on Clydebank RFC today 👏

Plenty of smiles, energy and effort on show from all the kids — exactly what it’s all about at this age.

It’s brilliant to see their confidence growing each week and the progress they’re making on the pitch.

Well done to all players involved 👏 and thanks to Clydebank Rugby Football Club for the matches.

❤️🏉 A Moment of Respect 🏉❤️

Before today’s match against Clydebank RFC, players, coaches and supporters came together to observe a minute’s silence in memory of Jamie Dickinson.

A powerful and respectful moment shared across both teams, reminding us all that rugby is more than just the game — it’s a community that stands together.

Our thoughts are with Jamie’s family, friends and everyone affected.

It is with great sadness that we share the heartbreaking news that one of our young players, Jamie Dickinson, sadly passed away suddenly on 6th March 2026.

Jamie was part of Loch Lomond Rugby Club throughout his primary school years. He was not only a fantastic little player on the pitch, but a kind, friendly and much-loved teammate off it. He always brought energy, smiles and friendship to everyone around him.

We are all struggling to come to terms with the loss of such a young life. At just 13 years old, Jamie had so much ahead of him, and he will be deeply missed by everyone at the club.

Jamie will always remain part of the Loch Lomond Rugby Club family

Our thoughts and prayers are with his mum Fiona, and all of his family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.

Rest easy Jamie

A message for all of our young players…

“This is bigger than one match.

It’s about representing your club.
It’s about standing shoulder to shoulder.
It’s about earning moments like this.

From Minis to Seniors — this is the standard.

Be inspired. Then go and put the work in.”
