Pre-season is here, and we're back in action as we begin preparations for the 2026/27 season!

Our first test sees us welcome Camberley Town Old Boys to Alderwood Leisure 3G.

After an great campaign last season, Camberley finished 3rd, missing out on promotion by 6 points, so we're expecting a competitive test to kick off pre-season.

Gary Jones remains with ABGFC Mens for the upcoming season.

Gary Jones joined us midway through last season and quickly became a key part of the squad. A dependable defender who is never afraid to get forward and support the attack, while remaining incredibly difficult to beat one-on-one.

We're looking forward to seeing what he brings in a full season wearing the ABGFC colours.

We're delighted to confirm that Jake Benbow is back for his third season in ABGFC colours! ❤️💙

Jake is always up for a bit of banter and a cold beer after a hard-fought 90 minutes. Strong in the tackles, composed on the ball, and never afraid to let one fly at goal or put a dangerous ball into the channels, he's a huge asset to the squad.

We're delighted to confirm that Charlie Sketchley will be staying with us for his second season.

A reliable presence in defence, Charlie's a great reader of the game his ability to anticipate danger and make crucial interventions make him a huge asset for the team and defence.

Some players come and go. Some never really leave. Connor Landess has been around this team long enough to become part of the furniture.

A familiar face, a great character, and someone who always brings plenty of energy on and off the pitch.
Quick feet, endless running, and never shy of a bit of banter, Connor has spent years keeping teammates, opponents and referees on their toes.

Of course, no post about Connor would be complete without mentioning that goal. The late winner in a game to earn us a valid 3 points. He'll never let us forget it... but after watching it back, maybe we don't blame him.

🔥 Another One Signs 🔥

Cameron McClendon, better known as "Big Cam", joins the squad for another season.

An absolute handful in the number 10 role, Cam is just as happy tracking back and putting in the hard yards as he is driving forward and causing problems in the final third.

Strong, physical, and never afraid to put his weight about, he's the type of player every opponent hates coming up against.

We're delighted to have Big Cam back in the ABGFC colours for another campaign.
