How long should your running shoes last? 👟
It’s one of the questions we get asked most often in-store, and while there’s no exact mileage that suits everyone, this guide gives you a rough idea based on your weekly running volume.
⚠️ Important: These timelines assume you’re doing all of your running in one pair of shoes.
If you’re rotating between multiple pairs (which many runners do), the lifespan of each shoe will be longer because the mileage is spread across your rotation.
Keep an eye out for signs of wear too:
✔️ Flattened cushioning
✔️ Worn outsole rubber
✔️ New aches and niggles
✔️ Shoes feeling less responsive than usual

Remember: hot weather puts extra stress on your body. It’s normal for your pace to slow down, so listen to your body and don’t be afraid to ease off.
