Its been winter and summer this week ๐Ÿ˜†๐ŸŒง ๐ŸŒž

Busy week after being on holiday.

I had loads of work stuff to catch up on and I started a wee 21 day aggressive diet.

I don't have anything on over the 21 days so it's the perfect time to do it.

It creates a little fast fatloss before I move Into the next phase of my diet.

Training has been good too just a wee 4 day split to maintain muscle in this phase.

We had a wee walk and chat on Saturday at Dunbeth it was a fab wee catch up.

Good luck to my client Kerry Stewart on running the Glasgow 10k today and for raising over ยฃ500 for a charity close to her heart โค๏ธ

Big well done to Janine Moroney on reaching 2 stone of weightloss. Poor Janine has been under the weather recently but is still doing what she can ๐Ÿ’ช

Big shout out to Vivienne Clark she is only 1 and 1/2 lbs away from her goal weight and is getting compliments on her progress ๐Ÿ‘

One of the saddest things I hear from women is:

"I've got no willpower."

Usually followed by a list of all the reasons they think they've failed.

Then we talk for a bit.

And it turns out they're working full-time.

Looking after everybody else.

Running a house.

Sleeping badly.

Stressed out their nut.

And somehow they've decided the problem is a lack of willpower.

Aye, okay.

Maybe.

Or maybe you're expecting yourself to function like a machine when you're actually a human being.

I've yet to meet a woman who's been shamed into lasting change.

Understanding herself?

That's a different story.

I think most women need less criticism and more curiosity.

Because there's usually a reason.

There nearly always is.

I've learned most of what I now teach my clients the hard way.

Not from a textbook.

A few of the lessons hit harder than others. Grief teaching me that working yourself into the ground doesn't actually fix anything.

A teacher's cruelty teaching me that sometimes spite is the thing that gets you through, not motivation.

Rock bottom teaching me, twice, that you can rebuild from absolutely nothing if you have to.

None of it was comfortable to learn. All of it is the actual foundation of how I coach now.

Only 1 week till we go to Portugal for a wee break and i can't wait. Know when you know that you need some downtime?

I always come back from a holiday looking forward to getting back to work.

I mentioned this to Kevin the other day i don't dread mondays at all, im off work a sat and sun so im always looking forward to getting back into it ๐Ÿ’ช

We had a lovely weekend. We had a nice sunny relaxed day in Glasgow on saturday with nice food and hilarious chat ๐Ÿ˜†

๐ŸŒŸ CLIENT SPOTLIGHT: ROSE ANN ๐ŸŒŸ

Rose Ann is one of my longest-serving clients, and her journey is a perfect example of what happens when you commit to your health for the long term.

Over the years, she has lost an incredible 3 stone, transformed her lifestyle, built strength she never thought possible, and even achieved her first pull-up in her 60s. ๐Ÿ’ช

But what impresses me most isn't the weight loss or even the pull-up.

It's what happened when life threw her a challenge.

Recently, Rose ann underwent knee replacement surgery.

While many people see surgery, age, or setbacks as reasons to slow down, Roseann proved the opposite.

Because she had spent years building strength, fitness, healthy habits and resilience, she went into surgery with a strong foundation and recovered exceptionally well.

Over the last 10 weeks, while many would still be making excuses, Rose ann has been part of my Summer Body Project.

Week after week she has shown up, rebuilt her confidence in the gym, regained strength, stayed consistent with her habits, and is now approaching another incredible milestone nearly a stone lost during the project alone. ๐Ÿ”ฅ

This is why I always say that fitness isn't just about looking better.

It's about building a body and mindset that can carry you through life's challenges.

Roseann is living proof that:

โœ… Age is not a barrier.
โœ… Setbacks do not define you.
โœ… Consistency beats perfection.
โœ… The habits you build today shape the future you experience tomorrow.

I couldn't be prouder of everything she has achieved.
