Busy two weekends for team peak at the development championships

Mixed bag of results across the weekend but coming away with 1 gold 🥇 and 3 silver 🥈

A great achievement for a small club and a great effort from all the boxers who fought across both weekends.

Great learning fights for some of the boys with plenty to work on 🥊

Congrats goes to our Gold medalist Caleb and also to Dawud, Lewis and Zak our three silvers 💪

Great efforts from Arran, Ben, Charlie, Declan & Ethan some great improvement from the boys and the only way is up 🥊

We are so proud of the boys achievements and they are a great team 💪 as much as it's an individual sport the boys are always there to back each other!

Thanks goes to Brophs Boxing & Fitness for allowing us to use there gym to train in its much appreciated and also to Cleland Miners ABC, founded 1985 who always have us over for sparring 🥊

We have also received unbelievable support from Bruce the lawyers with there amazing donations to help us fund our brilliant boys!

Brilliant third day at the Novices in Ravenscraig for Airdrie Peak.

First up was Ben Ferguson wee Benji had a tough taller opponent from Rob Roy. Ben gave it his all in the fight and was unlucky with a 2:1 split decision. Ben has improved massively and trained really hard in the build up Team Peak is proud of you 💪 he can only improve with more experience.

Second up was Dawud putting on a great performance showing his skills in his semi final beating a tough boy from Drumpchapel. Dawud is now through to next week's final with a great chance to win Gold for all his hard efforts in training 🥊

Third up was Charles debut fight. Charles didn't stop from first bell to last and put on a good performance against a tough fighter from Cain. Charles just came up short but will most definitley come again 🥊

Last but not least is Team Peaks first gold novice champion of the season 🥇
Following on from yesterday great fight from Lewis Rogan, Caleb was in the second final of the week for the club.

Caleb boxed beautifully and controlled from the first round keeping his composure throughout. He gave his opponent a standing count in the last round sealing the unanimous win and the first Gold medal. Caleb trained hard in the build up to this fight and always puts the work in while still finding the time to help out everyone else! Well done Caleb 🥇

All the boys who fought over the weekend should be proud of themselves everyone done great. Now it's onto next week where we have Declan, Dawud, Ethan and Zak all out over the course of the weekend.

Great second day over at Ravenscraig for the novices.

First up was Lewis Rogan up against a very tough opponent from Highland boxing academy. This was Lewis first fight and Lewis did the club proud and dug in with the split decision going the other way. Great first fight from Lewis and he will only get better 💪
Lewis takes away the silver medal in his final bringing home the first medal for the team 🥈

Charles got a walkover into tommorow and we look forward to seeing him tommorow 🥊

Arran was unlucky in his contest against his opponent from Southside. Arran gave it all until the last bell but unfortunately got beat in a 2:1 split decision. Arran has made great improvement and will only keep improving with more experience 🥊 proud of you!

Lastly was Zak Blue after his 2nd round stoppage last night Zak was back up again today against a tough opponent from Duries. Both boys landed heavy shots but Zak confidently took every round and won unanimously and goes through to next weekend 🥊 brilliant effort over the weekend from Zak having back to back fights!

Adult: 1 Day – £20, 2 Day – £35, 3 day – £45 (See below graphic)

Children Under-16: 1 Day – £10, 2 Day – £15, 3 day – £20.

To clarify, 2 and 3 day tickets only cover one weekend of boxing, and are not transferable over both weekends. Tickets only available to purchase on door.
