York acorn running club

Acorn Runners meet at the Acorn rugby club every Tuesdays and Thursdays at 7pm and ready to run at 7.15pm changing rooms and showers are available.

York Acorn is a friendly, sociable, easy-going running club that was originally formed in 1982. With a mixture of ages, experience, abilities and interests (including road, trail, fell, cross-country and track) most runners will find something to suit them at our club. We participate in events at a local, national and international level and our members travel from all over the York region to run

York Acorn Running Club have suspended all face to face activity until further notice following advice from England Athletics.

Stay safe everyone and we will update when the situation changes.

England Athletics has today (17 March - 9am) issued advice that all face-to-face activity such as club training sessions, events, competitions, club committee and face-to-face meetings, athlete camps, running groups and social events should be suspended until at least the end of April.
