Our stag stalking season is now well underway at Glen Tanar, with the first signs of the rut becoming increasingly evident across the estate. 🦌
The rut is always a special time of year, as the stags become more active and vocal, with their roaring echoing across the glens and hillsides. As the season progresses, the stags compete for the attention of the hinds, displaying their strength through roaring, posturing and challenging one another.
With the autumn colours beginning to appear and the mornings becoming cooler, the estate takes on a completely different character. The photographs below were taken during a recent stalking day and give a great impression of the season getting into full swing.
