Race information for the final race of this summer’s AbeRAStwyth 5K Series!

As with the first two races:

Race numbers can be collected from Aberystwyth Town Football Club from 3:00pm.

Entries close at 5:00pm on Wednesday, so please enter in advance to avoid any unnecessary stress or disappointment!

We’re in for a treat as Janos Vranek and Andrew Davies battle it out for the series title. Will it be course record holder Janos, or Andrew, who beat Janos in the opening race? Winner takes all!

In the women’s race, will Layla Omar-Davies complete a brilliant hat-trick of wins? A great night of racing awaits!

After the race, grab yourself a Maggie & Mo’s Pizza before heading into the John Charles Lounge for a drink.

The series presentations will take place in the lounge, presented by Aberystwyth Town Women's captain Amy Jenkins, followed by an evening with two-time Commonwealth Games athlete Andrew Davies, fresh from battling it out on the course!

You don’t need to have taken part in either of the first two races to join us on Wednesday — everyone is welcome!

You don’t need to be the fastest, belong to a running club or have raced before. Just turn up, give it a go and enjoy a brilliant evening of running in Aberystwyth!

We’re excited to announce that Welsh running legend Andrew Davies will be joining us for a special post-race Q&A following our final race of the summer!

Andrew’s incredible achievements include:

2:14:20 marathon PB
7 GB vests
2017 World Athletics Championship
Represented Wales at two Commonwealth Games
Former British V40 marathon record holder
Marathon Eryri champion
Top-five finish at the Comrades Marathon

Before reaching the highest level in athletics, Andrew was also a talented footballer who played in the Welsh Premier League.

The Q&A will be hosted by the voice who has brought you all the action throughout this summer’s series, Owain Schiavone!
