Our Community Fun Day brought everyone together for a brilliant afternoon of cricket, with eight teams taking part in the 6-a-side tournament.

Great cricket, plenty of laughs and a fantastic atmosphere around the club. Days like this are what it’s all about, thank you to everyone who came down and supported the day 👏

One last Saturday at the Park as ATCC 1st XI take on Penarth 4ths in the final game of the season.

A season of hard-fought games, big performances and plenty of memories comes to a close this weekend, so let’s get behind the lads and finish the season strong at home! 💚🏏

🏏 A huge final weekend of the season coming up at Abertillery Town CC!

Friday night sees the Toucans back at home as they take on Blaina Bells CC, with a 6:15pm start.

Then on Saturday, the 1st XI welcome Penarth 4ths for their final league game of the season, starting at 12:30pm.

And we finish the weekend with our Family Fun Day on Sunday! A full day of fun with live music, inflatables, face painting, food and drinks, with all ages welcome. 💚

🏏 Abergavenny CC took the win on Saturday, beating us by 23 runs in a competitive 40-over contest.

Abergavenny posted 283/3 before we finished on 260/6 in reply. Alex Newman (63) and Simon Bayliss (65) led the way with the bat, while Gareth Price finished unbeaten on 11 from just 4 balls, including a six and a four.

Gareth also impressed with the ball, taking 1/38 from his 8 overs 🎯

A tough one, but plenty of positives to take forward 💚

A tough afternoon for ATCC as Bridgend Town CC came away with a 6-wicket victory.

ATCC posted a strong 281/7 from their 40 overs, but Bridgend Town 3rds chased down the target in 33.2 overs.

Plenty of positives to take from a strong batting performance, with the lads looking to bounce back in the next fixture.

Nav top scored with an excellent 79, anchoring the ATCC innings and playing a huge part in the side reaching 257/6.

A high-scoring contest at The Park on Saturday saw TAW CC come away with the win by 4 wickets.

ATCC posted an excellent 257/6 from their 40 overs, but TAW CC chased the target with four wickets to spare.

A tough result to take, but plenty of positives to build on heading into the next fixture. Great play from Iestyn James finishing uneaten on 64*, he played a key role in a close game.
