Great morning for it today and it showed in our football. First up were Abertillery Excelsior's and from the off we were up for it and got stuck in and dominated most of the game and grabbed a 1-0 win . In the second game we played a strong pontymister and went head to toe with them but a few lapses in concentration and we let our guard down and ended up losing. The third game was a back and forth event which we should have won against a good Blackwood team but a draw was a fair result.The three MOTM were Boden, Fraser and Rhys. Boden with his goalmouth saves were incredible and Fraser and Rhys with their footwork and goals were a joy to watch but I want to mention how all of them played a part this morning and it was great to watch. 🖤💙

Good afternoon all.
A bit better weather outside than it was this morning🙄. I couldn't feel my hands so I can't imagine what some of the lads went through.
Bit of a tough day at the office but we knew it was going to be tough today. Set up slightly different formation wise and I thought it held up OK.
MOTM went to 3 lads......
Boden, some incredible saves bud 👏 Got absolutely stinking in the process 🤣
Jake, rock solid at the back and read the game brilliantly today 👊
Then Fraser, the quality is there for everyone to see, but he works as hard as anyone out there too🔥.

Following on from Simon's comments, I would say this morning was a battle from the start especially with the weather we had. The boys started off very promising with a new formation but a few lapses in concentration and we were unlucky to lose 3-0. The second game we should have mixed it up a bit from the start but we had flashes of what we are capable of and it was a lesson well learnt. The third game we grinded out a great win with some classy football played. The last game was a bit flat but that is understandable with what the boys had to battle through. Big well done to the Three MOTM, Boden you put your body on the line sliding everywhere and pulled off some tremendous saves 👍. Fraser you were everywhere today from attacking to defense, your reading of the game is a joy to watch 👏. Jake was like a rock all morning, you showed some confidence in yourself this morning which showed throughout 👊. Well done everyone. 💙🖤

Sun was shining this morning and the boys came out the blocks firing with a Great win against a strong and physical bluebirds team. The second game against wattsville was a scrappy affair and we did well to grab a draw in the end especially with Boden heroics in goal 👊. The Third game the ball didn't bounce our way and we let it get to us a bit but all in all we had a good day in my eyes. The two MOTM were Lewis and Harry who didn't stop working from back to front all morning. Well done boys keep it up!!! 🖤💙

Really pleased with the team today, in very tough and testing conditions.
All across the park we were on top form today tho, very disciplined in keeping shape and really fluid in attack with some lovely passing and movement on show. Something has clicked with our lads and they now know what they're capable of.
MOTM could've gone to anyone but I went with 3. Fletcher, Fraser and Rhys, quality lads fair play. 🔥But every single one of the boys should know that they can be very pleased with how they played.

I thought all the boys played their part today but with the saves Boden pulled off in the second game and Fraser's composure on the ball throughout they deserved MOTM. Keep on fighting and improving and we will go places. 💙🖤

Not a bad day of football today. I thought we dug deep in all 4 matches. All 4 could've swung either way, but a win and 2 draws is a decent return......

Another great weekend of football from the boys again this morning. The improvement in everyone's game is starting to show and I think the other teams are starting to take notice of us.......
