β½οΈ From the very start who has seen it all, words from our director Kevin 'Fudd' Elmore β½οΈ
Kevin Elmore has been part of Nantyglo FC since day one, making him one of the longest-serving and most dedicated people involved with the club. His journey began on the pitch as a senior player, proudly representing the club in its early years. Unfortunately, injury brought his playing career to an end, but it never stopped his commitment to Nantyglo FC.
Following his retirement from playing, Kevin turned his attention to coaching, taking on roles with the senior teams. He spent time coaching both the Nantyglo Reserves and later the First Team, where he enjoyed success alongside Carl Dance, earning the prestigious Manager of the Month award. His passion for developing players and creating a competitive environment has always been clear to see.
Wanting to give back even more, Kevin moved into junior football, helping to establish and develop the club's Under-12s. Through hard work, dedication and countless hours behind the scenes, he helped build a talented young squad that won the league in its very first season together. The following year, alongside Bradley "Bugsy" Bennett, they guided the team to another league title, creating a pathway for young players to progress into senior football and strengthening the future of the club.
Kevin's contribution extends far beyond coaching. As a Director of Nantyglo FC, he is one of the driving forces behind the day-to-day running of the club. Whether it's securing sponsorship, raising vital funds, promoting the club within the local community, or ensuring Nantyglo FC continues to grow, Kevin is always willing to go the extra mile.
He also serves as the club's Head of Ground Maintenance, taking enormous pride in ensuring Duffryn Park is presented to the highest possible standard. From maintaining the pitches and keeping the grounds immaculate, to looking after the clubhouse, carrying out maintenance, organising supplies and even making the infamous beer runs, there is very little that Kevin doesn't do.

π€ Words from our Director, 'Buggsy' π€
My journey with Nantyglo FC began as a player just a few years after the club was formed in 2007. I was proud to wear the shirt for a number of seasons before unfortunately having to stop playing due to knee surgery. Although my playing days came to an end, my commitment to the club certainly didn't.
In 2017, alongside Andrew "Werty" Worton, I helped establish our Under-8s team, where both of my sons began their football journey. When league rules meant my youngest son had to move into a different age group, Kevin Elmore and I started another youth team with a younger group of players. Watching those boys develop over the years has been one of the proudest experiences of my time at the club.
The highlight came during the 2021/22 season, when our Under-13s won the league without losing a single gameβan incredible achievement that reflected the hard work, dedication and togetherness of everyone involved.
Today, I'm proud to serve as one of the directors of Nantyglo FC, helping to run the club alongside five fantastic lads who, over the years, have become more like brothers than colleagues. Together, we're all working towards the same goal: creating a club that our community can be proud of, both on and off the pitch.
Looking ahead, my ambitions for Nantyglo FC are simple. I'd love to see us enjoy successful cup runs, achieve strong league finishes year after year, and continue building the foundations that will one day see our club competing at the highest level possible. With the commitment of our players, volunteers, supporters and everyone behind the scenes, I truly believe the future is bright for Nantyglo FC.
ππ€ Up the Glo!

β½οΈ 'Werty's' words.. Andrew Worton - Director of Nantyglo F.C β½οΈ
Iβve been involved with the club since 2017, when Bugsy and I started the junior section to give our sons, along with other local children in the community, the opportunity to play football. From there, I went on to manage the team from U9s all the way through to U16s. Itβs been fantastic to watch those children develop from such a young age, progress through youth football and make the step into senior football.
My son Jay is now heading into his 10th consecutive season with the club, and I honestly canβt imagine him ever playing for anyone else. The club has been a huge part of our lives over the years.
My expectations for this season are to see us have a good run in the cup competitions, while challenging towards the top of the table and hopefully fighting for promotion.
One of the most rewarding things for me is seeing some of the youngsters Iβve had the privilege of coaching over the years now involved with the first-team squad. Itβs fantastic to see them progressing and representing the club at senior level.
