What a day! π
Absolutely buzzing for taking 3rd place this weekend.
The result is brilliant, but what I'm most proud of is the work that went in behind the scenes.
Life doesn't stop just because you've got a competition coming up. Work, family and everything else still has to fit around training, and Darren never looked for excuses. He turned up, trusted the plan and gave every session everything he had.
To come away with 3rd place with the amount of prep time he had is a cracking achievement, and I know there's plenty more to come.
Well done mate, you've earned it. Now let's see what we can do with a full prep behind us. πͺ

A lot of people would have used an injury as an excuse to sit about and feel sorry for themselves.
Not this guy
After hurting his shoulder last week competing with the Monster Dumbbell, we switched gears and focused on recovery for his shoulder. Today was lower body and he absolutely smashed it. Tomorrow is pulling and pressing depending how his shoulder is.
This is what I tell all my clients... progress isn't about being perfect. It's about adapting, staying consistent and showing up even when things don't go to plan.
I'm proud of the effort today and now it's onto the next session with the goal still firmly in sight. πͺ
