A huge congratulations to the Welsh Veterans Commonwealth Team.

What a fantastic way to finish the fencing, with 5 medals won in the Veterans events:

🥇 Gold –Team Epee
🥇 Gold – Sabre
🥈 Silver – Epee
🥉 Bronze – Epee
🥉 Bronze – Foil

The Veterans events were the final fencing events, bringing Wales’ combined fencing medal tally to an impressive 6 medals.

That fantastic overall haul put Wales in 3rd place in the overall fencing medal tally. 🏅🏆

Well done to our Senior Men’s team today.

A fantastic effort in today’s competition, with both teams securing P4.

Special mention to the Men’s Senior Epee, who narrowly missed out on the bronze medal by just one point. Congrats all. 🤺 🙂

And a big congratulations to Marc Burkhalter on his bronze medal in the Men’s Épée today 🥉 — a great result.

A massive well done to Garmon for representing Wales and Abergele at the British Youth championships. A very tough competition, with a great opportunity to gain experience. Garmon scored good points throughout the day. Well done. 🤺

A huge well done to Riley for competing at the youth series in Liverpool and finishing 3rd. An excellent performance and a fantastic result. 🎉 🤺

The standard of fencing on display was incredible, with some truly exciting matches and brilliant performances throughout the day. It was great to see both experienced competitors and new faces all coming together and giving it their best.
