The morning sun beats fiercely down,Upon the dusty tournament ground.The Falcons lace their boots with pride,Ready to battle side by side.Through sweat and heat they chase the ball,Answering the whistle's call.They pass, they strike, they win the group,A fierce, unstoppable, soaring troop.The final brings a burning haze,A grueling, exhausting, breathless daze.The whistle blows, the score is tied,No team outdone, no heart denied.Now spot-kicks decide the silver and gold,As shadows lengthen and nerves take hold.A sudden dive, a crossbar ring,The cruelest end that sport can bring.Though penalties bring a heavy heart,They played a brave and brilliant part.With silver medals held up high,The Falcons look toward the sky. ⚽️

Well done Pentre Storm amazing achievement especially in this heat.

Another brilliant performance from the lads today. Despite a couple of injuries, we managed to battle through against a well organised Meliden team.

Huge respect to the lads for sticking to the task and playing some brilliant football along the way. A couple of goals for Henry James and a superb solo effort from Jac H from the half way line.

Defence was solid again today and special mention to Jac W for some brilliant saves.

On to the next friendly tomorrow 💙
