On Saturday, President David Richmond and Lady President Lyn Reid hosted a fantastic Presidents’ Party Night, welcoming over 100 members / guests for an evening full of fun, laughter, great food and brilliant entertainment! 🎉

The highlight of the night was undoubtedly the return of the amazing Richie Penrose, whose Soul & Motown performance had the room buzzing and the dance floor full all night long! 🎶🕺💃

A huge thank you to our lady members for the beautiful room decorations, and to Dino for organising such fantastic entertainment.

🏌️‍♂️ Yesterday on Bank Holiday Monday, we were delighted to host the annual traditional Glyn Parry Salvers Mixed Greensomes Competition at Abergele Golf Club.

This special event is held in memory of Glyn Parry, father of our Lady Captain Nia. Glyn was a highly respected and valued member of Abergele Golf Club, remembered fondly for his dedication and contribution to the club over many years.

Congratulations to all who took part, and a special well done to our winners:

🥇 1st Place – Phil Hodgson & Kerri Roberts – 39 points
🥈 2nd Place – Jonny Percy Hughes & Karen Walford – 37 points (winning on countback)
🏅 Closely followed by Mr Captain Mel & Linda Maher, also on 37 points

Yesterday we had a fantastic turnout of 80 members visiting Anglesey Golf Club, Rhosneigr, to compete for the Outing Cup.

Congratulations to worthy winners Lindsay Fisher and Peter “Tommy” Davies, who claimed victory with an impressive 42 points. Members enjoyed a brilliant day of golf, helped by good weather and just a slight breeze.

A huge thank you to all the staff at Anglesey Golf Club for their superb welcome and excellent service throughout the day.
