By far the toughest 13km swim from Aberdyfi to Pennal we have ever seen, well done to all who took on The Dyfi 13km Swim and Aquathlon 26km 🙌💯

OTILLO Swimrun World Championship 2026

60KM Running ~ 10KM Swimming

Superb participants, brilliant marshals.

The 20th edition of the race gave us the rough water and strong currents that we love 🌊

Thank you to all who made it possible, especially to our respective families for putting up with our daft pursuit of island to island racing

Racing with Will Raiment, we crushed the swims, the transitions and the technical running, then Orno crushed us, particularly me 🤪

Will Raiment it was a pleasure to race with you 💪

Finish time 9h 58m 58s - coming in 24th place

What made the day extra special was seeing every single one of the British teams finish, most doing it for the first time 🇬🇧🙌🍻

With several folks having GI issues I've got to give a big shout out to Veloforte | Real Food Really Works - their tasty Doppio Caffeine Gels powered me through the long yards, with no GI issues at all, in fact I should have taken more 😋

Thank you to the ace marshaling from Bill & Chrissy Lankford, and for the cheering from Helen Wikmar, Marika Wagner, Helene, Nicolas Ramirez & Nicholas Roman 💯

Well done to all at ÖtillÖ Swimrun for putting on a great show ♥️

A couple of weeks ago we had our one and only training session together ahead of the 20th edition of ÖTILLÖ Swimrun

The race starts at 5am UK time on Monday - google "otillo live" to follow the live broadcast 📹

It was also a great opportunity to test some new lines for The Eliminator, Aberdyfi 😍
