Aberdeen Ski Club was formed in 1956 and for six decades has been one of the leading clubs in Scotland. In 2010 the club re-invented itself as Aberdeen Snowsports Club and embraced all forms of Snowsports. Since then the club has gone from strength to strength, working hard to

Well we are a week on from when some of our trainees attending our summer race training camp at Hillend, Midlothian Snowsports Centre and what a few days they had. They should all be very happy with the improvements they made over the 3 days, plenty GS & SL practice, some trainees taking on the mighty Hillend slope for the very first time 👏 Always a worthwhile trip to get time at Hillend and some great downtime spent together socially out of the skis too - huge thanks to coaches Calum, Tom, Tristan, Isabella and Ali for their coaching ⛷️🤩

Want to join Aberdeen Snowsports Club training? We have two trial evenings coming up!
Friday 11th September & Sunday 13th September.
During these sessions coaches will assess ability and suitability.
Minimum standard required use tows and ski/board unassisted from the top of the white dendex performing controlled turns, balanced over the outside ski using pole plants.
Don’t worry if you are not sure, come along and try! You will have the opportunity to ask questions and find out about the great things ASC do!

🏂 The brand-new U16 Snowboard Cross Training Programme is launching for the 2026/27 season, giving young riders the chance to develop the skills needed to take on snowboard cross and banked slalom.
🛹 From Scottish mountain training and summer coaching sessions to freestyle, skateboarding, pump tracks and an exciting European training camp, this year-round programme is designed to help the next generation of riders progress towards Junior FIS and FIS competition.
Whether you love carving, freeriding or freestyle, this could be your next step on the pathway to racing.

The club has awarded these individuals with Lifetime Membership for Aberdeen Snowsports Club in recognition of their service and dedication to Snowsports.
They have both been valued members of the club for many years, racing for the club, coaching for the club, and most recently guiding at the Winter Paralympics.
They have given so much back to the club, generously sharing their time, experience, and passion for the sport.
