Good news for another one of our Extra Time regulars

2019 player Callan Yule has been invited into the Dundee FC pre-Academy when they return in August 👏👏

Callan attends our Tuesday sessions and camps , he also attended our Inverurie sessions . I also had Callan in with Rangers previously when we ran the centre in our region .

Smashing wee kid who deserves the opportunity. That’s 5 boys from our 2018/19 session now in at Dundee FC so he will see a few familiar faces .

Well done Callan , enjoy the experience 👏⚽️

⚽️ Summer camp week 1 complete 🙂

⚽️ What a great week of football fun , the kids were all absolutely brilliant. 👏❤️

⚽️ The energy and attitude was really good from day 1 . Out kicking a ball with old and new friends is in my opinion the best days of our lives ….we just don’t realise it until we are older .

⚽️ Tears , bumps , bruises , moans and groans …oh yes ….but the smiles and laughter every day exceeded the above 😊 . It’s all part and parcel of being a kid

⚽️ From our Saturday sessions to our Peterhead sessions and the Tuesday sessions the standard and attitude of the kids is brilliant 👏👏

⚽️ Will our sessions guarantee to make the child a Professional ? 100% no , no session in the world will guarantee that …no matter what any coach tells you .

⚽️ By creating a good and fun environment led by experienced coaches will it help them develop and make them want to return ? , should be a 100% yes every time 🙂

⚽️ From our youngest 2020 age group to our 2013s , they are going from strength to strength 👏👏⚽️

⚽️ 2 day development camps in July alongside Stefan Laird who is the current Elgin City 1st team manager .

⚽️ All the very best to Extra Time regulars Shay , Miller and Jake who travelled to Spain today to play for Rangers Soccer Academy in the Girona cup . Matteo who previously attended our sessions also travelled to make it 4 boys from the area 👏 🇪🇸

⚽️ Great experience and memories for the boys playing against top level teams in a different environment , which will only be good for their development .

⚽️ Great kids and always a pleasure to coach , enjoy the experience boys 👏

⚽️ Memories made to last a lifetime for all the Scotland fans who travelled and behaved in the manner they did 👏

We don’t deserve to be in the next round if by a miracle and collective run of results it happens , did nowhere near enough .

It blows my mind though that we are still light years behind other nations in player development ….and it shows at international and European levels during games .

Hardly any creativity on a pitch , game intelligence , problem solving and technical ability in players , we must be near the bottom off them all if there was a table .

Changes seriously needs to be made at the top level in football to help young Scottish players , grassroots needs a major shakeup …it won’t happen though , too much people in it for themselves instead of for the good of the game ….do the SFA and Associations really know what’s happening at grassroots games and clubs all over the country 🤔

We want kids on bigger pitches with bigger goals with more players too quickly … , decisions and problem solving then becomes easier . …non competitive 🤦‍♂️….that phrase should be banned in my opinion 😂 kids and teams not in the correct grade all over the country …won’t help them develop but it looks and sounds good .

Spain changed years ago when not working , Germany couple of years ago as not working , changes in most countries….but Scotland , na we are good thanks 🤔😂

As a nation are we moving forward? In my opinion it’s a no …sadly still in the dark ages and it won’t change in my lifetime.
