Recovery isn’t about finding the perfect exercise—it’s about having the right plan, progressing at the right pace, and staying consistent.

Helping this client regain mobility, build confidence, and lose weight during their recovery from frozen shoulder was incredibly rewarding.

If you’re dealing with pain, returning after an injury, or simply want structured coaching to help you get stronger safely, let’s talk.

A year ago, I was discharged from hospital after being diagnosed with Crohn’s disease.

Today I’m 10kg heavier, stronger than ever, and healthier than I thought I’d be.

Progress isn’t always linear, but consistency pays off.

If you’re ready to start your own journey, let’s have a chat and see how I can help.

Fitness content has become obsessed with optimization.

The optimal split. The optimal exercise order. The optimal rep range. The optimal timing for every meal.

For someone who’s already trained for years, those details might matter. For a beginner, they’re usually just noise.

Too many people spend more time consuming “the most optimal BLANK” content than actually training. They end up overwhelmed before they’ve even built the habits that produce results.

If you’re just starting, keep it simple.

Train 3 times per week. Hit every major muscle group. Learn the fundamental movement patterns. Show up consistently. Focus on adding reps, improving technique, and gradually getting stronger.

Discipline beats optimization when you’re building from zero.

The person following a simple plan consistently for six months will almost always make more progress than the person constantly chasing the “perfect” program but never sticking to it.

Master the fundamentals first. Optimize later.
