Congratulations to Adam Giles – Aberdeen Links Champion 2026

A huge congratulations to Adam Giles on winning the Aberdeen Links Championship, one of the North East Order of Merit events.

Adam produced an outstanding display of determination, resilience and composure throughout the championship. After qualifying as the 2nd seed with superb rounds of 71 (level par) and 70 (-1), he progressed through the knockout stages with impressive victories:

• Last 16 – Won 4&3
• Quarter Final – Won on the 19th hole with a birdie
• Semi Final – Won 5&4
• Final – After being 3 down through 8 holes, Adam fought back to finish all square before birdieing the 19th hole to secure the title.

This marks Adam's second Aberdeen Links Championship title, having first lifted the trophy in 2024.

Adam's performance is a fantastic example of how focus, determination and never giving up can produce incredible results. Everyone at Newmachar Golf Club is immensely proud of this outstanding achievement and congratulates Adam on another well-deserved success.
