How do you like to enjoy your mornings when you are on holiday? Coffee? Tea? Water? Walks? Reading? Cycle? Run? Lazy long breakfast? Cook your own or head out?

Just Say Yes!!!

Don’t deny yourself something that you would like on holiday. This would make me sad πŸ˜”πŸ‘Ž

Remember you work consistently and hard throughout the year and we all deserve a well earned break where we can kick back and relax and enjoy yourself πŸ‘πŸ₯°

If you fancy that beer, wine, Gin or cocktail while on holiday please have it πŸ‘πŸΈπŸΉ

If you fancy that dinner out or a cheeky takeaway, ice cream or cake please have it 🍰🧁

You are on holiday. A few treats here and there will not affect the waistline! If you gorge everyday and not move then there is a problem πŸ™ˆ

So just remember you are on holiday to enjoy yourself with your family or friends. It’s time to sit back, soak up the sun, relax and enjoy a little something you want πŸ‘

I certainly have and I am super happy!!! πŸ˜ƒ

I also wonder when it comes to food if I know the word β€œNo” πŸ˜‚. I don’t deny myself anything and I certainly will not have my son looking at food like it’s a bad thing and he can’t have it πŸ‘. Everything in moderation πŸ‘

Mmm dinner time on holiday πŸ˜‹

We eat the same on holiday as we do at home really. We sometimes eat better on holiday as we have oodles of time to prepare.

It’s been super hot with us all week and we threw together this delicious salad this evening πŸ˜‹with leftovers from the fridge πŸ‘

Mango chilli chicken
Chilli halloumi
Asparagus
Beetroot salad
Potato salad
Spinach and Parmesan pasta
Sweetcorn salsa
Salad

Delicious!!! πŸ˜‹

I find eating on holiday very easy. Easy to make healthy choices. We also prepare all our meals and have only eaten out once while we have been away. Just nice relaxing in your own area πŸ₯°. We have also enjoyed a picnics every lunchtime πŸ˜‹

These bands travel everywhere with me πŸ‘

For years I would always make a point of doing a daily workout on holiday no matter where I was in the world.

Then I became a mum and I took a wee step back from that attitude and exercised a little differently while on holiday. It would include lots of running around and throwing a toddler around. These kids can be heavy πŸ˜‚

Then it changes again and this time I cannot not exercises daily. Due to having my Physio exercises to do on a daily basis and it all going very well I cannot afford to not exercises while I am away. It’s all very positive and only takes me 45 minutes while my boys have a nice wee relax in the mornings πŸ₯°

I’m loving making the time for me and feeling good while on Holiday. Both for me physically and mentally πŸ‘

And it’s amazing what you can do with these bands πŸ’ͺ

Celebrate everyone’s wins πŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“πŸ†πŸ₯°

Day two of the Summer Holidays and we spent it with all those we love ❀️

Had a fantastic family day celebrating my neice who has graduated with an outstanding degree in Pharmacy πŸ’ŠπŸ‘©β€πŸŽ“

We had the loveliest day at Meldrum House πŸ₯°

The sun was shining and we had the loveliest day celebrating Abigayle.

Abigayle my wonderful Niece. Myself, Neil and Nathan are so proud of you and all that you have achieved. We can’t wait to see how well you do in your Pre-Reg year. Go for it and do yourself proud πŸ₯°

We can put this happiness in whatever we do and achieve. As a trainer I can get very frustrated when others are not happy when someone does well. Jealously is not a nice trait to have πŸ‘Ž

We should celebrate everyone’s wins no matter how big or small. Everyone deserves some form of applause πŸ₯°

Summer Holidays Day One 😍

I just love the Summer Holidays β˜€οΈ

I just love the six weeks I get with my son and all the wee adventures we go on and all the fun we have 😍

Kicked off the Holidays yesterday with keeping it local πŸ‘

If you look there are so many things to do in your area and I think it’s important to support local businesses πŸ‘

My husband took our son to the climbing wall in Duthie Park yesterday which was good fun then we all went to Albury Sports Centre for a game of tennis, 🎾 watch out Wimbledon future star in the making πŸ‘and a run around a park with his wee pals πŸ‘

Free to take part and a small fee to play at Albury πŸ‘

If you haven’t been to Albury Sports then you should check it out. It’s immaculate and all run by volunteers. They have brand new Tennis Courts, Pickleball, Bowling, Putting πŸ‘. You can also pay as you go or become a member which is very affordable πŸ‘

Summer Holidays also means very slow mornings πŸ₯°. It’s all about long-lies, coffee and books today. Then a cheeky weights session πŸ’ͺ. And Nathan is still fast asleep after 9am πŸ‘. Brilliant!!!

Holiday Mode well and truly switched on!!!

Switching off for ten days and in much need of some quiet, rest and relaxation 😍

It’s time to kick back, do some exercises and enjoy time with my boys on our daily adventures 😍

It’s time to make some memories 😍

Schools Out For The Summer β˜€οΈπŸ˜

Words can’t describe how proud I am of my son

This past year I have seen Nathan develop so well in his abilities and confidence at School and I could not be prouder of this young man 😍

If you ask me about my son,

I'll probably smile before I even answer.

Because how do I explain what it feels like to love someone this much?

He's kind, funny, warm, and so easy to be around.

But it's more than that.

He has this way of making people feel lighter, more at ease, just by being himself.

And I will never stop being proud of the person he is

Go get them Nathan and have the best last day in P3!!

Celebrations and party start at 3pm!!!

Wellness Wednesday is your designated midweek opportunity to pause, reset, and build healthy habits before the weekend.

Since Wednesday is statistically when stress peaks and energy dips, dedicating this time to mental, physical, or social wellbeing prevents burnout and significantly boosts productivity.

With a hectic work and personal schedule again this week, my husband away again this week and I am solo parenting, hitting my workouts, keeping the house tidy and the School Holidays starting tomorrow I took the decision to give myself a few hours of me time this morning 😍

And it’s been fab πŸ‘

An hour long walk 🌳hitting more than 11,000 steps πŸ‘
Coffee stop β˜•οΈ
Manicure πŸ’…

Then a little bit of work before sometime with my son, gym time and a great 7km, a delicious and convenient dinner and playtime with my son 😍

This little bit of time to myself this morning was enough to reset and get me relaxed to enjoy time this evening and get organised for tomorrow. No stress and no rushing about πŸ‘

I now get to do my skincare and enjoy my new Tropic product, Juicy Greens πŸ₯¬πŸ˜

Anyone else had a little you time today?
