A huge congratulations to Dylan Innes from our greenkeeping team on completing his SVQ Level 5 in Sports Turf Greenkeeping. 👏

Following the successful completion of his apprenticeship, Dylan steps into his role as Assistant Greenkeeper at Murcar Links. His hard work and dedication behind the scenes are a big part of what keeps our course presented to the highest standards year round.

It was an absolute pleasure welcoming Michael Murray, General Manager at Chattanooga Golf & Country Club, and his son Christopher Murray, General Manager at 2028 US Open venue, Winged Foot Golf Club, to Murcar Links last week.

The visit held special significance for Michael, who comes from Aberdeen and shares deep family ties with the club through his father, David Murray, a long-standing Murcar member. The timing could not have been better, allowing Michael to reconnect with his father's longtime winter foursomes partner, Mike Dalgarno.

They had a brilliant afternoon on the course, followed by plenty of great stories swapped in the clubhouse. A special thanks to Les Durno for arranging such a memorable visit.

Safe travels back home, we hope to see you back on the Aberdeenshire coast again soon!

Congratulations to Corin Stewart, crowned our Gents Scratch Champion for 2026! 🏆

Corin lifted the Fairfield Challenge Cup after a fantastic, hard fought final against Anthony Bews, securing the title by 2 holes in the last of our Club Championship finals.
