The team at Murcar Links recently had the absolute pleasure of donating some of our old pins to our friends over at Iona Golf Club.

Supporting such an incredible and unique club is something we are absolutely delighted to do. If you have never made the journey over to the Isle of Iona, it is a bucket list trip that every single golfer should experience at least once in their lifetime.

We are looking for a Golf Operations Lead to join our team and play a key role in delivering exceptional experiences for our members, guests and visitors.

This role involves leading the day to day delivery of our golf operations including competitions, visitor days, corporate events, and member engagement, working alongside our General Manager and PGA Professionals.

We are looking for someone with experience in golf club operations or sports business management, strong customer service skills, and knowledge of competition management systems.

Royal Gold Open Results 🏆

Congratulations to all the winners from yesterday’s Royal Gold Open. We had a fantastic field competing and some brilliant scoring across the board.

A special mention goes to Murcar Links member Neil McKinnon for winning the Scratch section with a great round of 72, and to our very own Vice Captain, Stuart Richardson, for taking top spot in Division 2.

Updated Dates: Junior Summer Golf Camps 🏌️‍♂️☀️

Spaces are filling up fast for our Junior Summer Golf Camps, and we have updated our schedule for the second session to early August.

Hosted by our PGA Professional James Johnston, these camps are open to all skill levels. Whether your kids are picking up a club for the first time or looking to improve their game for the holidays, we provide a fun, friendly, and completely safe environment.

The New Schedule:
👉 Camp 1: 13 to 15 July
👉 Camp 2: 3 to 5 August

The Details:
⏰ Time: 10:00am to 12:30pm daily
🔢 Age: Open to kids aged 8 and over
💷 Price: £75 for members | £85 for non members

What is included:
👉 Expert PGA Professional coaching with James Johnston
👉 Range balls, fun games, and skills challenges
👉 Real on-course experiences and exciting prizes

A huge congratulations to all of our 2026 Club Champions who lifted silverware over an incredible weekend of matchplay golf.

While we could not get everyone into a single photo, we want to extend a massive well done to every single player who fought their way through the matchplay brackets to reach the final day.

A big congratulations to Keith Robertson on claiming the silverware in the GJC Abel Trophy final.
