🐦⬛ 2025-26 Season Concludes 🐦⬛
We see out our season with a 1-3 record at the Bowl Tourney.
And just like that, year two is in the books. To everyone who laced up, cheered us on, or played any part in making Ravens what it is, thank you!
For now, we rest up and enjoy the offseason (and hopefully more sunny weather)🐦⬛🏒

🚨BOWL TOURNAMENT🚨
It’s that time of year….SIHA tourney time!
This year in the Bowl, we’ve been drawn into a group with:
Lossiemouth Jets
Galloway Grizzlies
Coatbridge Redwings
Kirkcaldy Kraken
Finishing top two in our group will give us a spot in the semifinals, and a win there would see us promoted with a chance to grab some silverware to boot.
It is sure to be a great weekend, and we look forward to participating!

After losing the ice rink in Ayr, Scottish Hockey can ill afford another rink closure. Our friends at Coatbridge Coyotes Ice Hockey Club and Coatbridge Redwings, as well as junior programs, figure skaters, and many more, rely on the Time Capsule Rink. Please spread the word so we can save it!
⛸️ TIME CAPSULE - ICE RINK
I have become aware that, at the Communities Committee meeting on 27th of April, North Lanarkshire Councillors will be asked to agree a recommendation to close the ice rink at the Time Capsule and redevelop it with an active play area and an additional fitness area.
My understanding is that the ice rink is very well used and over my time as an MSP I’ve met with a number of groups that use it regularly. It’s also fair to say I can’t think of another similar resource within North Lanarkshire where these clubs, groups and individuals would go if there is no ice rink.
While I understand the report outlines some cost savings and I’m sympathetic to the idea of new facilities I’m fully of the belief that such decisions cannot happen without proper consultation. We need to understand the impact of closing such a well used resource on the groups that use it and the communities it serves.
No decision has been taken yet so it’s therefore important that if you are likely to be affected by these changes, or you are affiliated with a club that uses it, that your voice is heard.
You can email me on [email protected] and I’ll make sure your views are passed to councillors.
I’d also encourage you to email your local councillors and you can find details of how to do so here: https://northlanarkshire.cmis.uk.com/Councillors.aspx
