๐ Happy 80th Birthday, Pam! ๐
This year, we're delighted to celebrate a very special milestone for one of our incredible group exercise instructors, Pamela Smith.
For over a decade, Pam has been inspiring our RGU community through her energy, expertise and unwavering commitment to helping others stay active. At 80 years young, she continues to teach numerous classes, keeps up to date with the latest research, and puts that knowledge into practice every day.
Pam describes RGU as her "happy place" and reflects on the incredible support she has received from colleagues and participants throughout the years. Through life's highs and lows, including recovering from illness, navigating the challenges of Covid, and the loss of her husband, the RGU community has been there every step of the way.
But Pam is just as grateful for the people who attend her classes:
"The people who come to my classes are without doubt the reason I still teach. Their welcoming attitude, humour, and willingness to embrace every challenge I set have helped me through some of my most difficult days."
Supported by her personal trainer, committed to staying strong, and continuing to live life to the fullest, Pam is proof that age is no barrier to making a difference.
Please join us in wishing Pam a very happy 80th birthday and thanking her for the inspiration, dedication and positivity she brings to RGU every week. ๐
