A magical evening was had in Copenhagen last night at Verdensballetten! We enjoyed a selection of exquisite excerpts from ballet, opera and classical music and celebrated DC alumni harris.beattie performing alongside principal dancers from the Royal Ballet. Beyond proud and inspired by the artistry & creativity on stage. Huge congratulations to all involved - what a privilege to be there among friends & DC supporters! 💙🇩🇰

Huge congratulations to our very own alumna Laura Main - who received an honoury Doctorate D(Litt)from Aberdeen University this week! Laura was one of our very first students through the door at Danscentre, now nearly 40 years ago! Not only is she a celebrated artist but a huge inspiration to all our students!
Laura- your journey demonstrates what can be achieved with passion and determination. We are all so proud of you and send our love and congratulations to you and your family.

Today marks the final day of term, and we’d like to wish all of our students and families a wonderful summer break. Thank you for another amazing year, we can’t wait to welcome you back refreshed and ready for a new term!

📅 School Holidays
The school will be closed from Saturday 27 June to Wednesday 19 August, with classes resuming on Thursday 20 August.

📍 Office Opening Hours
Our office will be closed from Friday 3 July to Monday 27 July.
From Monday 27 July to Monday 17 August, we’ll be open with skeleton staff before fully reopening from Monday 17 August.

🛍️ DansFit Pop-Up Shop
Our in-person pop-up shop will be open from Monday 27 July to Monday 17 August:
• Wednesday: 10.00am–2.00pm
• Thursday: 10.00am–2.00pm

Online orders can still be placed throughout the summer, with collections available during the above opening hours and from Monday 17 August.

Huge congratulations to our Advanced 2 Modern students on completing their ISTD Modern exams this past week ✨🙌🏼

This is a truly incredible achievement, as Advanced 2 is the highest and final level of ISTD Modern examinations. Reaching this stage requires an immense amount of hard work, dedication, resilience and commitment over many years of training.

These students have gone above and beyond, balancing regular classes alongside extra lessons, rehearsals and many hours of self-practice to prepare for this professional-level examination. To achieve this at such a young age is a remarkable accomplishment and a true testament to their passion and determination as they move into the next chapter of their journeys.

We are incredibly proud of everything you have achieved and all the hard work you have put in to reach this milestone. Whatever comes next, we know you will continue to shine ⭐️
