Despite a small delay to the start of play due to the morning fog, we would like to thank everyone for their patience and understanding. We were delighted to have a fully booked field, making this another fantastic and successful Open.

The course was in excellent condition, and there were plenty of impressive scores throughout the day.

A huge congratulations to Linda Simpson on recording a fantastic Hole in One during today's Marshall Trophy Competition at Craibstone Golf Course!

Linda aced the 10th hole with a superb 8 iron, with her playing partners I. Corsar and G. Roberts there to witness the incredible shot.

Even more remarkably, this is Linda's THIRD career Hole in One – an outstanding achievement that very few golfers will ever achieve!
