My little girl turned 2 this week 💕🥹
And becoming a mum completely changed the way I look at fitness
Before having her, a lot of my motivation came from how I wanted to look…
Now?
I want to be able to keep up with her
I want to run around the garden with her, get down on the floor and play, carry her when she wants picked up, go on adventures with her and have the energy to actually enjoy our days together 💜
I want to be strong enough for real life
And I want her to grow up seeing exercise as something positive and fun. It’s something we do because it makes us feel strong, capable and good💪
Not something we have to do because we’ve eaten too much…
That’s why fitness is so important to me💜
It’s not about having the “perfect” body
It’s about making sure my body can keep up with the life I want to live and that’s exactly why I believe fitness for mums needs to look different 💪
You don’t need to spend hours in the gym
You don’t need to follow a restrictive diet
You don’t need to put your family life on hold
You need something that helps you become stronger and healthier while still allowing you to be the best mum you can…
Because these little people don’t stay little forever🥹
And I want to be fit enough to enjoy every minute I can with mine💜 that’s my why…

If you’ve ever looked at someone else’s fitness routine and thought…
“How am I supposed to fit THAT into my life?”
I totally get it
When you’re working, looking after the kids, sorting childcare, making everyones meals, doing all the housework, and trying to remember what day it is 😅 the answer isn’t going to be “find more time”
And it’s definitely not to start another plan that is made for people who don’t have a busy life
You don’t need hours in the gym
You don’t need to cut out all the foods you enjoy
You don’t need to exercise every single day
And you definitely don’t need to give up halfway through a week because you had one bad day
You need a plan that works when life is busy because your fitness shouldn’t have to compete with your family, your work or your social life
It should fit around them 💜
If you’re a busy working mum who’s fed up with starting again, this is for you
And if you want help figuring out how to make it work around your life, DM me “READY” and let’s chat💜

Week 32/52 - 2026 - fitness edition
A very normal week over here…
Evie keeping me on my toes, work & coffee, some good meals… and some nuggets, getting my workouts done and plenty of coffee because… mum life ☕️
Nothing fancy and never perfect 😅 just doing what I can, when I can, and juggling everything week to week
Honestly, this is exactly why I don’t believe you need to have your whole life organised around fitness to make progress
Some weeks you get 3 workouts done and some weeks you get 1
Sometimes your meals are planned and sometimes you’re grabbing something quick because you forgot you bought them and they were going out of date 😂
You don’t need to wait for life to calm down before you start looking after yourself. You just need an approach that can fit into the life you already have💜
How was your week?👇

Week 31/52 - 2026 - fitness edition
Interviews, baking dessert tables, extra Pilates classes, training and new nails 💅
Love using this time to teach extra classes, expand my learning and bake some treats for people 🧁

Maybe the consequence of not changing anything isn’t some dramatic “before and after”
Maybe it’s simply that 6 months from now, you’re still feeling exactly the same…
Still putting yourself last.
Still saying “I’ll start when things calm down.”
Still feeling frustrated that you can’t stay consistent.
Still waiting for the perfect time to prioritise yourself.
But here’s the thing…
Life probably isn’t going to suddenly become less busy
There will always be work.
The kids will always need you.
There will always be meals to make, washing to do and a million other plates to spin and a to do list to complete.
You don’t need to find more time
You need to stop trying to fit your health into a life that doesn’t have a load of spare time
You need a plan that fits the life you actually have 💜
Shorter workouts.
Simple nutrition.
Realistic goals.
Consistency over perfection.
Because 6 months from now, you could either be wishing you’d started…
or thanking yourself that you did💜
If nothing changed over the next 6 months, would you be happy with where you are?

Week 30/52 - 2026 - fitness edition
Tattie growing, meal planning, bathroom flooding, unemployed and beautiful sunsets
Let’s never speak about this week again…. 🙃🥲

Week 29/52 - 2026 - fitness edition
A chilled week post half marathon, discovering baked oats again, a date trip to Luke Combs, sunny runs and little shoppers
Only our third date since having Evie?! We need to fix that but she’s too cute to leave behind 🥹🤣

As a coach, I could give you a list of exercises, meal ideas and transformations
But honestly?
These are the things I wish every busy woman knew about fitness and followed
Because getting healthier isn’t about finding more time or more motivation
It’s about letting go of the pressure to be perfect
I know what it’s like to juggle a full-time job, motherhood and training. Some weeks go to plan, and some weeks go completely off the rails 😅
The biggest lesson I’ve learned is:
✨Progress comes from what you do consistently, not what you do perfectly✨
So if you’re feeling like you’re behind or you can never get started, this is your reminder that you’re probably doing better than you think
What point did you need to hear?💜
Save this for the next time life gets busy and tough💜

Week 28/52 - 2026 - fitness edition
Aberdeen half marathon, fun with bubbles, sunny walks with my baby and cuddles with my fluffy baby
Loved doing a half marathon so close to home 🏃♀️
