Hermes U12 Girls – Away at Deveronvale 💙🖤

A long trip to Portsoy today, but absolutely worth it. The girls were dominant from the start, playing some brilliant football, creating loads of chances and producing a fantastic team performance throughout.

Five goals for Ruby today — apparently after negotiating a price-per-goal deal with her dad beforehand. Given she hadn’t scored for a while, he may now be regretting that particular incentive… 😂⚽️

A fantastic morning for our U8 girls, with 11 players turning out and two 5-a-side teams in action! 👏

Brilliant to see such great numbers at this age group, with the girls enjoying their football, getting plenty of game time and continuing to develop together.

💙⚽ SUPERB FROM THE SKY BLUES! ⚽💙

A long, narrow and noticeably sloping pitch provided a very different challenge today, but the Sky Blues adapted brilliantly.

When we had the advantage of the slope, we swarmed the opposition, playing some excellent attacking football and creating chance after chance.

⭐ Star performer was Evie, who capped an excellent display with a superb hat-trick.

A fantastic performance from the girls, showing great determination, teamwork and attacking intent throughout. 💙

A tough but positive game for Hermes U12 Girls against Culter Corsies today. ⚽️

Hermes were up against a bigger, stronger and physical side, but they played some excellent football and worked hard throughout. There were some lovely passages of play, plenty of determination, lots of speed and a couple of cracking goals along the way. 🙌

As the game went on, tired legs started to show and the second half became more challenging, but the girls kept battling and never stopped trying to play their football.

Hermes Ladies Sky Blues are offering 4 FREE football training sessions to girls born in either 2016, 2017 or 2018.

Hermes U10 Blacks had their first game since moving to grade A and played some of their best football so far. Good passing and movement and the energy levels were high throughout.

A massive positive was the girls communication where they were moving into space, asking for the ball and playing off each other.

You would not have known how little football they have had over the summer and that this was a step up to the A league for the girls. A great test for the girls and a lot more to come over the next 2 blocks.

Lillie was the coaches POTM today. Great with the ball at her feet, she drove the team on and was a constant threat down the left wing. She worked tirelessly for the team as well. A great all round performance from her 💙

We’ve heard nothing but great things about the way the girls played today. Plenty of energy, enthusiasm and, most importantly, lots of smiles and enjoyment out on the pitch. 💜

It’s fantastic to see this young group continuing to develop, grow in confidence and enjoy their football together.

⚽ Hermes Sky Blues vs Huntly 💙

A fantastic performance from the Sky Blues today, with the girls showing great composure, strong defending and some excellent football throughout.

There were plenty of highlights, including a brilliant strike from Billie for her first goal of the season, some outstanding saves from Victoria, while Evie blew off the summer cobwebs and got herself back on the scoresheet.

The versatility throughout the squad was also great to see, with the girls looking increasingly comfortable and confident when asked to play in different positions.

⭐ Star Performer — Cassidy

A superb performance from Cassidy, who was excellent all over the pitch today. She started up front and scored two goals, including a thunderous finish into the top corner, before later dropping into defence and taking command at the back.

Wherever she was asked to play, she excelled, showing fantastic composure, reading the game brilliantly and intelligently finding her teammates further up the pitch.
