📰 | CLUB STATEMENT

After careful consideration we are devastated to announce that the club will be resigning its membership for the AAFA and will be folding, pending acceptance of our resignation.

This is not how we envisioned things coming to an end, however with an ever shrinking squad and a large increase in costs for the forthcoming season, running the club is no longer viable.

I would like to thank everyone who has pulled on a Machar strip for their hard work, commitment and dedication to the team. It’s these players that kept the club alive and gave us so many memories along the way.

If any clubs are looking for players please don’t hesitate to get in touch (07402 074138 - Struan). I would also like to extend my apologies to the clubs that we have arranged friendlies with.

COACH RECRUITMENT

The club are looking to bring in an experienced coach to join the backroom setup. The ideal candidate will have experience coaching at juvenile/amateur level and ideally possess coaching badges (we will be happy to assist in gaining these!)

25/26 PLAYER RECRUITMENT

We are looking to bolster our squad with new recruits for the upcoming 25/26 season where we will compete in Division 4 (assuming the planed league reconstruction goes ahead!). We will be looking to add players in all positions, so if you have experience playing amateur/junior football or are looking to make the step up from juvenile football please get in touch!
