A few of yesterdays 40 over cricket match between Cynon Valley Wanderers Cricket Club and Bridgend Town Cricket club.
Massive shout out to the two youngsters who bowled against us from Bridgend Town they played absolutely amazingly yesterday and was a pleasure to talk to. Good luck for the rest of the season both 👏

After a tough day in the field we was set a tough target to reach.
But our skipper with his first century of the season and our own secret agent with his first half century for the club saw us over the line inside 28 overs.

Unfortunately today wasn't our day. Ponthir Cricket Club came away with the win in a very hard fought game.
Ben Griffiths top scored today with 41, a cameo at the end for the 10th wicket partnership between Ashley PG and Rich Bevan for 30
Bowling Ashley PG, Kam Sandhu & Brian Powell all took 3 wickets with Brian nearly winning the game for us in the 38th over was very close to a hat trick and winning the Wanderers the game.

Yesterday we had a very good game against Radyr Cricket Club The game could have gone either way.
With the bat, our older heads of Brian Powell and Paul Williams helped to see us over the line.
With the ball, both Paul Williams and Ashley Phillips-Green took 3 wickets a piece.
We're on the road again next weekend against Ponthir Cricket Club
