A bowler's Positive Axis Point (PAP) is the most important piece of information when putting a layout on a bowling ball. It's impossible for a pro shop to use a specific Dual Angle/VLS/2LS layout without your PAP, so make sure you know what yours is before getting that next ball drilled!

In the picture are two bowling balls with the SAME layout, but from bowlers with two different PAPs. Putting the pin in a "typical" spot will create different layouts for different bowlers, so go find your PAP the next time you're on the lanes!
