174 km. Nearly 10,000m of elevation.

What happens to your running form? đŸ”ïž

During an ultra like HOKA UTMB¼ Mont-Blanc, fatigue doesn’t just affect your legs. It can gradually change the way you run from your posture and stride to your joint movement, stability and overall control.

Over thousands of steps, these changes can add up.

That’s why understanding your running biomechanics matters. Knowing how your body moves can help identify potential weaknesses, guide your training and build a stronger, more resilient running form.

Good luck to everyone taking on the trails around Mont-Blanc this week! ⛰

🏁 The European Athletics Championships European Athletics have just wrapped up in Birmingham and like every major meet, they remind us what a good running stride really looks like.

Here’s what stood out on the technique side:
đŸ”č Consistency above all — Jakob A. Ingebrigtsen claimed his 4th consecutive European title in the 5000m, the Netherlands relay team Femke Broeders Bol , Eveline Saalberg, Lieke Klaver | Olympian, Myrte van der Schoot won a third successive women’s 4x400m title, and so many more brilliant athletes marked the occasion. That’s not luck, it’s hard work race after race.
đŸ”č Good technique protects as much as it performs for elites and everyday runners alike, an efficient gait also means fewer injuries over time.
đŸ”č Progress is built step by step. A personal best, a medal, or just making the final, every performance starts with work on foot strike, cadence, and posture.
Not all of us are built to run an 800m in 1:43, but we all have a gait that can be understood, adjusted, and protected. That’s exactly why Ochy exists: we analyze your stride to help you run better and prevent injuries, whatever your level.

So what will you take away from these championships?
