Après des mois de préparation, de travail et de construction pour ce qui devait être notre plus grand événement à Paris, nous avons reçu une décision officielle nous empêchant de maintenir l’événement à la date prévue.
Aujourd’hui, nous sommes très heureux de vous annoncer que Battle Cancer Paris est reporté au 11 juillet 2026.
Toutes les équipes, inscriptions et horaires de départ seront automatiquement transférés. Aucune action n’est requise de la part des athlètes à ce stade.
Si vous ne pouvez pas être présents le 11 juillet, plusieurs options s’offrent à vous :
• Possibilité de modifier votre horaire de départ le jour de l’événement
• Participation à n’importe quel événement Battle Cancer dans le monde : https://www.battlecancer.com/calendar
• Participation à Battle Cancer Paris 2027, qui aura lieu le 19 juin 2027
À tous les athlètes, bénévoles, partenaires et soutiens : merci pour vos messages, votre compréhension et votre bienveillance. Nous reviendrons vers chacun d’entre vous dans les prochaines 24 heures.

Dear athlete
We are so sorry to update you at such short notice but we received at 1am on the 20th of June a issue from the Police that we cannot produce our Battle Cancer Paris event, with the official notice information below
arrêté 2026-00769 prohibiting the “Battle Cancer” event to be held on June 20, 2026 from 8:00 am.
As you saw from socials we had worked incredibly hard all day to build an incredible looking event and also spent a large amount of time and financial resource to provide
* Over 600 litres of additional water for athletes
* Shaded full cover to our competition stations
* Mist spray and cooling areas
* Additional first aid responders
* Tracked the weather forecast with today being significantly cooler than all week and the week ahead
We had no contact with the Société d’Exploitation Sport Evènement after issuing responses to confirm all requested actions for the weather warning until we had the email at 1am. The Société d’Exploitation Sport Evènement has not answered any communication during the hours since and so we have not been able to formally challenge the decision.
As such we have made the decision to fully comply and will have to postpone the event today. With legal compliance and safety as our key priorities we had no other option from this legal order.
We will update you before 5pm today ( 20th June) with next steps and details of our new date. Please be assured, all fundraising will be counted and used towards the new date, all t shirts, medals, patches, gifting is secured.
We are incredibly grateful for you as a Battle Cancer athlete and want you to have full trust in us as event organisers and will update you asap today.
