*NOT A PAID ADVERT*

I love living a nomadic lifestyle and my paddling career has definitely reflected that.

From high alpine lakes to some of the most remote lakes on the planet, if there’s water, I’ll paddle it.

When you’re travelling, every kilogram and every bit of pack space counts.

I’ve used a lot of electric SUP pumps over the years and has genuinely impressed me. It’s the lightest remote electric SUP pump I’ve tried, weighing just 1.35 kg, without compromising on performance.

This isn’t a paid advert or sponsored post, it’s simply a product I rate. If you’re planning a remote SUP adventure, I’d genuinely recommend making room in your kit for one of their pumps.

Please feel free to DM me for any product advice

*NEW WORLD RECORD* 🌍🏆

It’s been a while since I’ve truly pushed myself in the sport I love most, the one that keeps me grounded and reminds me of what I’m capable of.

Recently, I was invited to Slovakia to attend Paddle cup . While I was there, I decided to take on a new challenge: crossing Lake Orava, the longest lake in Slovakia, in record time.

Because this challenge had never been attempted before, Guinness World Records set a benchmark time of 2 hours and 30 minutes. I’m proud to say I completed the crossing 45 minutes faster, setting a brand-new world record.

Going into this challenge, I questioned whether I still had it in me. But with the right preparation, mindset, and determination, I achieved exactly what I set out to do.

This experience is a reminder that no matter where you are in life, what obstacles you’ve faced, or how much time has passed, incredible things are still possible when you refuse to give up on yourself.

I still have moments where I have to pinch myself. Five years ago, I was sitting in a tiny prison cell where hope felt distant. Today, I’m standing in Slovakia celebrating a world record.

Life can change in ways you never imagine.

Keep believing. Keep pushing forward. Keep showing up. And always keep paddling toward your goals.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported me on this journey. This achievement belongs to all of us. 🙏

When life strips everything away from you, it’s easy to believe nothing is possible.

But stepping onto my paddle board gave me something I thought I’d lost… purpose, freedom and a reason to dream again.

What once felt impossible slowly became reality, one stroke, one challenge, one day at a time.

No matter how hard life gets, never give up on yourself. Keep pushing. Keep growing. Keep believing.

Because the greatest rewards in life come from refusing to quit when everything tells you to.

Last night, Dirty Business aired on Channel 4 and it’s something everyone should watch.

This powerful show exposes the hidden practices happening behind closed doors, the environmental damage, the lack of accountability, and the real world consequences for our oceans and communities.

It pulls back the curtain on systems that are profiting while our planet pays the price.

If you care about clean seas, marine life, and the future we’re leaving behind, this isn’t just a programme to watch it’s a call to act.

Here’s what you can do:
* Watch it on catch-up and share it widely.
* Start conversations with friends and family.
* Contact the companies and decision-makers involved.
* Support organisations fighting for ocean protection.
* Demand transparency and stronger environmental regulation.

Change only happens when awareness turns into action. The more people who see this, the harder it becomes to ignore.
And if watching Dirty Business has raised questions or sparked something in you, I’d love to connect.

As an ocean activist, I’m always open to conversations, collaborations, and ways we can push for real protection of our seas. Please do reach out.

Our oceans don’t have a voice so we have to be one.

Sometimes, the best ideas come when you’re simply sitting still and listening to the waves 🌊…

This moment is the calm before the storm of new adventures I’m planning on the water. Just sitting here, feeling the breeze, and letting the possibilities come to me. Can’t wait to see where the paddleboard takes me next! 🏄‍♂️

What’s your next adventure? Any spots you think I should check out?

The water whispers before it roars.

For years, I didn’t listen! To my body, my mind, or the world around me.

I went to prison and in that silence, I finally heard myself.

The noise stopped, the distractions faded, and I learned what strength really means.

Strength isn’t just about fighting through the waves — sometimes it’s about standing still, breathing deep, and finding balance in the chaos.

Paddle boarding gave me that freedom again.

The same focus I once used to survive, I now use to move forward, one stroke at a time.

The upside?

A deeper respect for peace, purpose, and the power of second chances.

I’m treating this life like open waters unpredictable, humbling, and absolutely worth it. 🌊
