39 young agricultural students to compete for the title of ploughing champion in Olustvere, Estonia.
This Saturday, September 19, young ploughing champions from ten countries will gather in Olustvere to compete for the 11th time in the international ploughing championship for students. Thirty-nine young people will enter the competition, while hobby farmers will simultaneously compete in the vintage class.

Young people from Estonia, Ukraine, Germany, Austria, Norway, France, Luxembourg, Hungary, the Netherlands, and Slovakia are participating in the student ploughing championship. The competition follows the rules of the World Ploughing Championships, and the head judge is Taavi Võsa.
The ploughing championship begins on Saturday morning at 8:00 AM at the Olustvere flag square and runs until 4:30 PM.

The 51st Estonian Ploughing Championships took place on September 26–27 in the fields of the Rural Knowledge Centre in Jõgeva County, where this year's Estonian champion ploughmen were determined in various competition classes. The winners, Raido Kunila with a conventional plough and Priit Puuorg with a reversible plough, will represent Estonia at next year's World Ploughing Championships in Croatia.

In the conventional plough class:
1. Raido Kunila (Artiston Grupp, 450 points)
2. Mait Pajo (A.Tammel AS, 344.5 points)
3. Raimond Lepiste (Kaspar Järvala Ploughing Team, 330 points)

In the reversible plough class:
1. Priit Puuorg (Kaspar Järvala Ploughing Team, 396.5 points)
2. Indrek Mägi (Olustvere TMK, 395.5 points)
3. Reimo Ilves (Järvamaa KHK, 357.5 points)

The International Ploughing Championship for Agricultural School Students will take place on September 20, 2025 in the fields of Olustvere, Estonia, for the tenth time, with young ploughmen participating from Estonia, Ukraine, Poland, Germany, Austria, Latvia, France, Luxembourg, Hungary, the Netherlands and Slovakia. A total of 36 students will compete, testing their skills according to the rules of the World Ploughing Championship. In addition, 23 farmers will compete in the vintage tractor class. The chief judge of the competition is Taavi Võsa.

36 participants from 11 countries took part in the international student ploughing contest in Olustvere, Estonia on September 21. Young ploughers from Estonia, Austria, Spain, Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Latvia, Poland, Slovakia, France and Ukraine are represented. The competition will take place within the Agro Challenge 2024 youth professional competition, which will be held for the 7th time.
In parallel, 26 hobby farmers will compete in vintage class.
