We’re proud to support , an association working to protect mountain environments and promote a more responsible relationship with the mountains.

Since 1988, Mountain Wilderness has been working to defend natural mountain areas, encourage more respectful practices, and support the transition of mountain territories.

Its work combines advocacy, awareness and concrete action in the field, from removing abandoned infrastructure to working with local communities and encouraging more sustainable ways of accessing and experiencing the mountains.

Through our commitment to 1% for the Planet, we’re proud to support Mountain Wilderness in protecting wild mountain environments while helping shape a more sustainable future for mountain territories.

Northern Vietnam, first ascents and new lines.

This winter, headed to Northern Vietnam for a first ascent trip, bringing along the Vista and BLAST.

The Sultana Ridge of Foraker.

, Gavin Hess, Brian Burger and Aidan Whitelaw climbed the route before meeting our Field Testing team members, Sam Hennessey and Ryan Griffiths, at the summit.

Together, the six climbers completed the first ski descent of Foraker’s Northwest Ridge.

A few days earlier, Sam and Ryan had also completed the second ascent of the Terravechia/Larson Route (VI WI5 M6).

Congrats to the whole team for this incredible adventure.

Garhwal Himalaya, India.

, and travelled to the Garhwal Himalaya with the objective of attempting the southeast face of Chaukhamba III (6,974m).

However, exceptional snow conditions forced them to rethink their plans. Taking advantage of a brief weather window, they ultimately turned their attention to the southwest ridge of Balakun (6,471m).

Partway through the climb, Christian chose to descend and return to base camp after assessing both the conditions and his physical state. Sean and Vitaliy continued upward, eventually reaching the summit and establishing a new route named *Kishmish Ridge* (M5 R/X, 2,100m), completing a 40-hour round trip from base camp.

Last spring, , and travelled to the Garhwal Himalaya with an ambitious objective: to attempt the southeast face of Chaukhamba III (6,974m).

After establishing their base camp at 4,450m, the first weeks were spent acclimatizing, preparing their equipment and waiting for the right weather windows.

Between periods of bad weather, the team explored the surroundings of camp, opening around twenty boulder problems from V1 to V7 and working on a crack line nearby that eventually became a beautiful 7a finger crack.

A glimpse into the first days of the expedition, before heading higher into the mountains.

Denali: second free ascent of the slovak direct

From June 2–3, and completed an outstanding ascent of Denali's South Face via the legendary Slovak Direct (AI6, M8, 2700m).

Climbing the route in just 38 hours, they achieved the second free ascent of this iconic line, one of the most demanding and celebrated routes in North America.

A committed and impressive ascent on one of the continent's biggest walls.

Congratulations to Vincent and Will on this exceptional achievement. 👏
