The French driver competed in 149 Formula 1 Grands Prix between 1978 and 1989, racing for legendary teams including Renault and Scuderia Ferrari. Known for his exceptional speed, spectacular driving style and fearless approach, René Arnoux secured 7 Grand Prix victories and 22 podium finishes, becoming one of the most iconic figures of Formula 1’s golden era.

After establishing himself as a leading driver with Renault, Arnoux joined Scuderia Ferrari in 1983, where he delivered memorable performances, winning three Grands Prix and contributing to Ferrari’s Constructors’ Championship success. His passion, talent and unforgettable battles on track have made him a true Formula 1 legend.
