Well… I wasn’t expecting this one 😂
I knew I came away from Istanbul happy with my first solo HYROX, but this landed in my inbox afterwards.
Sandbag lunges - top 1% in my age group across the season.
Apparently we’ve found my station 😂
More than anything, I loved seeing what the race showed me - where I’m strong, where I lost time and where there’s still a lot of room to improve.
1:22:23 for my first solo. Happy with it. Proud of it. And definitely not finished.
A little recovery, then back to work.
Bordeaux mixed doubles → Paris solo. 💜

You can be fit and still move inefficiently.
That’s where performance leaks.
Right now I’m deep into HYROX coaching ,
working on gait, control, and real efficiency.
Because at this level,
it’s not about doing more…
it’s about doing it better. matters

This has been my biggest shift lately…. I’m working on this right now.
Not going all out every session.
Not chasing that “dead” feeling.
Learning to control my effort instead of forcing it.
And honestly… it’s harder than it looks.
But the difference?
Lower heart rate. Better sessions. Real progress.

HYROX Toulouse - performance is built, not improvised
1:21:12 (first race)
This race wasn’t about pushing harder.
It was about executing under fatigue.
A few key principles:
• Managing intensity early
• Staying composed when it gets uncomfortable
• Moving efficiently, not just fast
• Respecting pacing over ego
Performance isn’t random.
It’s the result of structured work.
Now I know exactly where the next minutes are.

Most people train hard.
But they don’t train with structure.
Random workouts feel productive.
But without a plan there is no clear progression.
A structured program balances:
• strength
• conditioning
• mobility
• recovery
This is how you build results that last.
Train with intention.
