A Strong Wind Warning is in force for all Fiji waters.

🌬️ Forecast: Southeasterly winds 20–30 knots, rough to very rough seas, and moderate southerly swells.

⚠️ Action Required:

▪️All Mariners & Vessel Owners: Secure all ships/boats immediately and practice good seamanship.

▪️Stay Updated: Listen for official updates via Suva Coast Radio (3DP) or local stations.

Diving is very safe...
But.
Even when we are well trained, cautious, and conditions perfect, DCS can still occur.
This account, which is definitely real, from last year in the Solomons, highlights this.
Being a Rescue Diver helps to prevent incidents, and also prepares you to deal with an incident.
We will be running the next Rescue Diver course in August and I'll post more details soon.
