For the first time International Handball Federation introduces the Senior Nations Cup to its member countries as an opportunity to move closer to the Senior Women’s World Championship!

Announcing the Oceania leg of the 2026 IHF Nations Trophy for Senior Women. This serves as the first leg for qualification to the World Championship. The winner will have to compete in the Asian Championship. The tournament will be held in Wellington, New Zealand on 10-14 September.
