📢 SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING (SGM) – DATE CHANGE NOTICE

The Raiwaqa Basketball Players Association (RBPA) wishes to advise all members that the Special General Meeting (SGM) previously announced has been rescheduled.

This change has been made due to a clash in dates of obligation. Please note the following meeting details:

📍Venue: Ed's Court.

🏀 BOSTON BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT IS HERE! 🔥

The Boston Basketball Club is proud to host the Boston Basketball Tournament, bringing together some of the best basketball talent for an exciting week of competition.

The tournament will feature 12 Men's Teams and 12 Women's Teams, with teams battling it out for cash prizes and the ultimate bragging rights. Registration is $300 per team, and the competition will run from 18th to 24th August.

Gather your team, register early, and get ready for a week of basketball, great sportsmanship, and unforgettable moments.

🏆 U15 Girls Champions – Browning Bombers! 🏆

A huge congratulations to the Browning Bombers U15 Girls on winning their first-ever Raiwaqa Basketball Interlane Championship! 🎉🏀

It was a memorable journey for this young team, led by captain and tournament MVP Mere Tunidau, who summed up the competition perfectly before the semi-finals:

"The competition has been super tough and fun at the same time."

The grand final against the Mighty Derricks was one for the ages. Both teams battled fiercely, finishing with two draws before the championship was decided in a thrilling sudden death period.

What an incredible display of determination, sportsmanship, and heart from both teams.

Congratulations to the Spowart U12 Boys on being crowned the 2026 Raiwaqa Basketball Interlane U12 Boys Champions after a fantastic victory over Jazz Singers in the grand final! 👏🏀

This talented group of young ballers has come a long way, with many of them stepping up from the U10 Mixed Division last year to compete in their first U12 competition. Their hard work, teamwork, and determination have truly paid off.
