At the Laucala Bay Sailing Club we want kids to love sailing, we want to see them out sailing and having fun as often as possible, with the intention that one day they will be regularly crewing on somebody else’s boat or have one of their own, but we need to ensure that they enjoy it first!

Congratulations to our 3 Laucala Bay sailors on their incredible podium finishes at the 2025 Fiji Oceania Optimist Championships!
• Kele Hunter – 1st in both the Boys and the Open categories
• Robert Lepper – 2nd in both the Boys and the Open

Results and Prize Giving Ceremony. Vinaka Vakalevu again to our wonderful supporters International Paint, Tradewinds Marine Group, and our Nationals Sailing body . The individuals who volunteered (some may or may not have been voluntold) their time, fuel and boats and last but not the least to our amazing participants - without you there would be no regatta. Train HARD and see you at the next Trials in August.
