Former national 7s rep Amenoni Nasilasila was not allowed to play for Malolo in today’s Skipper Cup final. Head coach Rupeni Nasiga clarified that it was a decision by the Fiji Rugby Union. Malolo named Nasilasila on the bench on Friday but his name was omitted in the team list released by the FRU, leaving Malolo with 22 players. He was asked to leave the ground during warm-up session before the match against Naitasiri. The Namatakula, Nadroga native was released last month after being convicted of r**e in 2019.
