The Fiji National Rugby League, serves as the single governing and controlling authority for rugby league football in Fiji. It was established in 1992 and the the FNRL has been a full member of the Rugby League International Federation since 1998. It oversees Fiji's national rugby league teams, including the men's team (Fiji Bati) and the women's national team (Fiji Bulikula).
The organization runs local grassroots and premier club competitions across Fiji, most notably the Vodafone Cup, a premier club competition built on a partnership with Vodafone Fiji that has spanned over two decades.
As the regulatory body responsible for all domestic development, national team selections, and international compliance, any official dealings, third-party agreements, endorsements, or tounament operations must receive direct approval and endorsement from the FNRL leadership. Unauthorised third-party engagements or negotiations carried out without the express permission of the governing body are considered invalid.
Moreover, the authority in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, Fiji directly governs the grassroot development pathways, and school competition.
Therefore, any official communications and endorsements are to be strictly channelled through the league’s authorised representatives.
