Congratulations to all the young men and women who took part in this year’s Deans Rugby and Raluve competitions.
To those who reached the finals today, congratulations on an outstanding achievement. You have represented your schools, families and communities with pride, courage and determination.
We also acknowledge every team that took the field throughout the competition. Whether your journey ended in the early rounds, playoffs, semi-finals or finals, you have all contributed to another memorable season of schools rugby.
For many of these young players, this is only the beginning. The discipline, friendships, resilience and lessons gained through rugby will remain long after the final whistle.
From all of us at the Suva Rugby Union, we congratulate every player who participated, as well as the coaches, teachers, parents, supporters, match officials and everyone behind the scenes who made the competition possible.
To our young players: be proud of how far you have come, remain humble, keep working hard and keep dreaming big. The future of Fiji rugby is bright.
