To celebrate 50 years of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s, the Marist Rugby Club also presented Commemorative Kits to all Teams.

The commemorative kit includes a branded 50th Anniversary Gilbert Match Ball and 18 Commemorative Medals for each 15 players and 3 team officials.

The 50th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Grand Final was the moment everyone had been eagerly waiting for. The atmosphere was electric, as fans gathered in anticipation of an unforgettable clash between two outstanding teams. The evening began with a formal ceremony, setting the tone for the prestigious event.

The Chief Guest, Mr. John Sanday, Chairman of the Fiji Rugby Union, was warmly welcomed to the occasion. He was accompanied by Brother Chris, representing the Marist Brothers Fiji, and escorted by James Vunituraga, Event Director Media. Their presence added significance to the event, highlighting the importance of the tournament in Fiji’s rugby culture.

Before the much-anticipated final match, a special moment was arranged for the Chief Guest to meet the players. He offered words of encouragement and wished them well, inspiring both teams ahead of the big game. This gesture reflected the spirit of sportsmanship and unity that rugby represents.

From the home of the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s the Marist Rugby Club of Marist Old Boys to the global stage, the Fiji Bitter Marist 7s continues to grow, inspire, and unite.

The roots have never been stronger The wings continue to fly.

To my right hand Koli Korovulala who would have thought that this would have happened when we left school in 1982. Gods plans are the best plans. Vinaka my brother for now are the best memories.

To my family and my wife who put up with me all this years thank you for your unshakable support.
Gods love which has been in abundance and to my daughter Yaca Anne Vinaka na Luvequ for watching over me leave early and coming home late . This is for you ❤️
