The peak season is upon us and there is not a dull moment in sight but meeting amazing people has exceeded every expectation we had.. This incredible group from Italy has brought joy, tears and laughter to all of us.. It was bitter sweet to see them leave but we made new friends and became a much bigger family!! Thank you to Antonio Carbone, his lovely wife and his incredible and loving team.. The only wish we have is to see all of them again very soon!!!!!

🦈 Introducing this month's ocean hero: Coral Coast Divers ! 🏆

"In June, Coral Coast Divers, based in Fiji, led several dive sites cleanup including within our marine reserve, recovering fishing lines, hooks, debris, and plastics, restoring the reef’s natural beauty. Beyond conservation, we also conducted several classes in shark ecology, certifying multiple divers and fostering a deeper understanding of the role sharks play in the marine ecosystem. This blend of hands-on action and education reflects our ongoing commitment to conservation and community.

Our company is also dedicated to both the preservation of sharks and fostering understanding around them. We focus on shark conservation through direct action, such as reef cleanups and safe diving practices, ensuring that sharks and their habitats thrive. Equally important to us is education: we provide courses and certifications that deepen divers' knowledge of shark ecology. Additionally, one of our efforts involves collaborating with large industrial fisheries: we recover unused fish parts that are not suitable for commercial sale and recycle them within our marine reserve, providing sharks with natural sustenance. Through conservation, education, and sustainable practices, we strive to protect sharks while inspiring others to do the same."

Today we celebrate the birthday of a great lady!! Coral coast divers would not be the same without her!! Never complaining, working diligently welcoming our guests, communicating with guests from around the world and always doing it with a smile... We also decided that she deserved to be crowned at our employee of the month 😀
Our team is made of great and amazing people we call family and Viyaya is definitely a part of all of us!!
