South Central Crowned Vunivalu Shield Champions

South Central Rugby Club has etched its name into Serua Rugby Union history after claiming the prestigious Vunivalu Shield, defeating a determined Wainiyabia side 20–14 in a thrilling game.

Led by captain Joshua T. Narawa, South Central displayed resilience, discipline, and championship character to overcome a spirited challenge from Wainiyabia and secure one of the most coveted titles in Serua rugby.

The game lived up to expectations, with both teams showcasing the talent and passion that continue to make the Vunivalu Shield competition the pinnacle of club rugby within the Serua Rugby Union.
Wainiyabia fought bravely throughout the contest, keeping the scoreline close and applying pressure until the final whistle. However, South Central's composure in key moments proved decisive as they held on for a memorable six-point victory.

Captain Joshua T. Narawa led from the front, inspiring his teammates with a strong all-round performance and ensuring South Central remained focused during the crucial stages of the match.
