FIJI WINDSURFER OCEANIA CHAMPIONSHIPS
One of the coolest things about this event is the people it brings together.
Before the marathon race, we asked a few of our sailors where they’d travelled from to be here.
From New Zealand to Australia and beyond, the fleet is packed with sailing legends, great stories, and a shared love of getting out on the water.
This is what makes events like these so special.
What a finish! Day 4 of the 2026 Fiji Windsurfer LT Championship went down in a blaze of high wind and heavy action. It was by far the windiest day of the regatta, pushing all competitors to their limits and capping off an unforgettable week of sailing in paradise.
Huge congratulations to everyone who took part, and an enormous thank you to the organizers and volunteers!
The FOMO is real, but you can fix it. NEXT YEAR — BRING A FRIEND! Let’s make the fleet even bigger.
The wind turned up for Day 3 and the fleet’s response was basically:
“Let’s go further.”
A beach start marathon race, plenty of breeze, and enough energy on the water to keep everyone smiling.
Special mention to our two young IQFoil sailors who took one look at the conditions and decided it was foil time.
What a day.
Day 2 served up plenty of action, but let’s be honest... we’re all here for that Bruce Kendall mark rounding.
While the fleet raced, Bruce casually reminded everyone exactly why he’s an Olympic Gold Medallist.
At 62 years young, he’s living proof that time on the water beats everything else. Because sailing isn’t just a fitness game—it’s about reading the shifts, mastering the currents, and relying on decades of pure instinct.
Watch closely. Then watch it again.
Before the racing stories unfolded, before the rivalries began, and before the results started taking shape…
There was Day 1
From the Opening Ceremony to final rig checks and the first races on the water, the 2026 Fiji Windsurfer LT Oceania Championships got underway in spectacular fashion at Musket Cove.
Here’s a look back at where it all began.
Celebrating our youngest competitors birthday Fiji Style. Happy Birthday Honor and thank you to the team at for a great evening
Three young Fijian sailors. Three different goals. One shared passion.
Before heading out for Day 2 of racing at the 2026 Fiji Windsurfer LT Oceania Championships, we caught up with our local sailors to hear what they’re aiming for this week and what sailing means to them.
Stay tuned for a special message in Fijian at the end, encouraging more young people to get out on the water and give sailing a go.
