Yesterday was a truly special day at .ironparadise .

I had the honor of welcoming Ed Connors – President and the creator of the global Gold’s Gym chain, and one of the most influential figures in the history of the fitness industry. Edward Connors

Ed acquired Gold’s Gym with his partners in 1979. Together with Pete Grymkowski and Tim Kimber, they transforming the legendary bodybuilding gym into a worldwide fitness phenomenon.
By the time Ed ultimately exited in 2004, Gold’s Gym had grown to 704 locations in 26 countries with over 3 million members.

His influence also reached generations of athletes, including 6x Ms. Olympia and 4x Mr. Olympia Jay Cutler and also John Cena

Having Ed walk through our 40,000 sq. ft. Iron Paradise, home to 350 machines from 40 of the world’s leading equipment brands, and getting to show him what we’ve built here in Finland was something I’ll never forget.

And sharing that moment with bodybuilding legend Shawn Sugar Ray made it even more special.

⚠️ TÄRKEÄ HUOMIO PAINOJEN SÄILYTYKSESTÄ:

Laitteen takana olevista levypainojen säilytystapeista ylemmässä tapissa saa säilyttää ainoastaan 2,5 kg tai sitä pienempiä kiekkoja.

Isommat kiekot kuuluvat alempaan säilytystappiin. Jos ylempään tappiin laitetaan suurempia kiekkoja, laitteen liikkuvat counterweight-painot voivat osua niihin liikkeen aikana.

👉 Ylätappi = max. 2,5 kg kiekot
👉 Alatappi = isommat kiekot

Pieni m***a tärkeä yksityiskohta, jotta laite toimii juuri niin kuin se on suunniteltu ja pysyy kunnossa kovassakin käytössä. 🔥

Valtava määrä säätömahdollisuuksia, viimeisen päälle suunniteltu biomekaniikka ja vastuskäyrä tekevät tästä täysin oman luokkansa laitteen. Omassa vertailussani tämä voittaa mm. legendaarisen Mega Mass Linear Row’n selvästi.

🔥 SHAWN RAY IS COMING TO FitVantaa-Iron Paradise Training Center

On Friday, August 28th, FitVantaa-Iron Paradise Training Center, one of 🇪🇺 Europe’s largest gyms in 🇫🇮 Finland, will welcome one of the most respected names in bodybuilding history – Shawn Ray.

Shawn Ray competed at the Mr. Olympia 13 times and achieved an incredible 12 consecutive Top 5 finishes between 1990 and 2001. He was the Mr. Olympia runner-up twice, won the Arnold Classic in 1991, and was inducted into the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2007.

🎤 The seminar will be hosted by one of Finland’s most knowledgeable bodybuilding experts. Utti has an exceptional knowledge of competitive bodybuilding and its history from the 1980s to the present day. He will interview Shawn and take us through the different stages, competitions and stories of Shawn’s legendary career.

The seminar begins at 6:00 PM on Friday, August 28th, and will be held in FitVantaa’s large group fitness studio.

Perjantaina 28.8. FitVantaa Iron Paradise saa vieraakseen yhden kehonrakennuksen historian arvostetuimmista nimistä – Shawn Rayn.

Shawn Ray kilpaili Mr. Olympiassa 13 kertaa ja sijoittui uskomattomat 12 vuotta peräkkäin viiden parhaan joukkoon vuosina 1990–2001. Hän saavutti urallaan kaksi Mr. Olympia -hopeaa, voitti Arnold Classicin vuonna 1991 ja hänet valittiin IFBB Hall of Fameen vuonna 2007.
